Ancient Tomorrow

The Ancient Tomorrow Collection seeks to merge the past, present, and future while investigating the physical and metaphysical essence of jewellery.

It makes use of jewellery’s longevity and ability to negotiate meaning, record history, offer protection, and act as a mediator.

As jewellery often exchanges hands over generations, it carries its meanings and abilities from indefinite pasts to indefinite futures that far surpass an individual lifetime.

Ancient tomorrow is inspired by ancient cultures, architecture, and our own North African Jewish heritage.

Each work in this collection, which is largely made up of rings and earrings, incorporates these inspirations and is invested with its own spiritual meaning relating to protection, narrative, and identity.

The primary medium used in this collection is sterling silver, silver being a precious metal that has long had protective and spiritual connotations for the myriad of cultures that traditionally worked with this metal.
