The Mourning Rings

The Mourning Rings is a collection characterised by the use of blackened or patinated sterling silver and colourful gemstones.

The collection is centred on mourning not only as the outward expression of grief over the death of a loved one but more generally as the transformational ritual through which deeply negative feelings are made tangible through an object and processed without stigma or judgement.

As such, The Mourning Rings can provide a means through which to embody sorrow, and even assist in exorcising those feelings by freeing them from being trapped within the wearer.
