The Lotus Eater is a one-of-a-kind ring inspired by its own central stone—a breathtaking and unusually cut 10.41 carat ethically sourced lavender quartz from Brazil. The soft and delicate lavender-grey hues of this stone contrast powerfully with its clarity, size, and sharp concave-cut facets which create stunning geometric patterns.
The ring’s design is similarly rich in aesthetic tensions, incorporating an asymmetrical arrangement of structures that resemble flower petals attached to an architectural, rectangular base. The grey, white, and lavender hues of the silver metal and lavender quartz also contrast dramatically with the dark greys and deep blues of the cultured freshwater pearls that we have placed next to the central stone as well as at the base of the shank.
