Stud earrings: titanium, responsibly sourced sterling silver, responsibly sourced fine silver, ethically sourced Brazilian amethysts, cultured freshwater pearls.
These one-of-a-kind, large, but lightweight earrings take inspiration from the nautilus, a cephalopod related to octopus and cuttlefish. The rich royal purple amethysts at the centre of each earring have been set in responsibly sourced sterling silver and riveted to etched and heat coloured titanium. These disklike titanium sheets cover much of the lower ear including the lower portion of the ear’s opening, with the spiked protrusions intended to face forward. The etched lines reference the striped surface and segmentation of the nautilus shell. Two large baroque cultured freshwater pearls are suspended from the bottom of the earrings using responsibly sourced fine (pure) silver wires. Large, bright, and assertive, these earrings are perfect for those who wish to exude self-confidence and individuality.
