The pendant’s design is inspired by the ribbons of a vinok. The vinok is a Ukrainian flower wreath (crown) made from woven fragrant herbs, delicate flowers and colourful ribbons. It is endowed with symbolic meanings and has been worn for centuries by girls and women at festivals and weddings.
